Chamomile Teas
Chamomile tea is one of the most effective medicinal teas known. The gentle action of this herb makesit suitable for children and adults, and the tea can be safely used on a regular basis. To be prepared when stomachaches, insomnia, sore throats or cramps strike, keep a supply of chamomile flowers on hand.Be sure to buy Matricaria recutita, or German chamomile; this variety contains the highest concentration of the essential oils responsible for giving chamomile its healing power.Preparation of the Tea:In a teapot, place 1 tsp. of chamomile flowers per cup of water. Boil the water, then let it cool slightly (using boiling water will cause the various therapeutic compounds in chamomile to evaporate). For best results, steep the tea less than 5 min.Therapeutic Effect:The healing effect of chamomile is due primarily to the chamazulene and alpha-bisabolol in its essential oil. Chamomile has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and antibacterial effects. It also helps calm the nerves and induces sleep. In addition to being drunk, chamomile tea can be used in healing compresses of added to bathwater. For treatment of gastric problems:The essential oils in chamomile combined with other ingredients, such as sulfur and calcium, help relieve gastrointestinal inflammation. To ease pain and stimulate the digestion, drink 3-4 cups of freshly prepared tea daily for a period of several weeks. For relief of intestinal cramps:The flavonoids in chamomile tea can prevent gas and relieve cramps. However, for menstrual cramps, a chamomile tincture is better because its flavonoid concentration is a third higher than that of the tea.Take Care:Chamomile has been known to cause allergic reactions in people who are allergic to ragweed or other members of the daisy family. If you have such an allergy, you should avoid using it.For inflammation, restlessness and insomnia:A chamomile tea bath provides quick relief from skin inflammations, restlessness and insomnia. Add 1 qt. of chamomile tea to a bathtub full of warm water. For insomnia, take the bath before bedtime. For menstrual cramps:A chamomile tincture can alleviate menstrual cramps. To make the tincture, add 2/3 oz. of chamomile flowers to 1 ½ oz. of 100-proof alcohol and let it steep for 1 week. Strain and store in a dark vial. Take 10 drops in a glass of water.Chamomile Tea Mixtures:For gastric complaints:1 oz. chamomile2/3 oz. peppermint1 oz. carawat seeds2.3 oz. angelicaUse 1 tsp. of the mixture per cup of hot water. Your Days "And the wind said, may you be strong as the Oak, yet flexible as the Birch, may you stand tall as the Redwood, live gracefully as the Willow, and may you always bear fruit, all your days on the earth"
The universe, caught so percariously in the miniscule gravitational pull of one atom signify's the delicate nature of existance in cahoots with the largest cosmic prank ever pulled off. Somewhere there is a collection, a written account of such quantum activities oh here it is.
George Michael With a gun that he polished for a rainy day A smile and a quote from a vigilant movie Our boy Jimmy just blew them all away He said it made him crazy Twenty five years living hand to mouth Hand to mouth, hand to mouth, hand to mouth Sweet little baby on a big white doorstep She needs her mother but her mother is dead Just another hooker that the lucky can forget Just another hooker It happens everyday She loved her little baby But she couldn't bare to see her living hand to mouth Hand to mouth, hand to mouth, hand to mouth I believe in the gods of america I believe in the land of the free But no one told me (no one told me) That the gods believe in nothing So with empty hands I pray And from day to hopeless day They still don't see me (see me) Everybody talks about the new generation Jump on the wagon or they'll leave you behind But no one gave a thought to the rest of the nation "Like to help you buddy but I haven't got the time" Somebody shouted "save me" But everybody started living hand to mouth Hand to mouth, hand to mouth, hand to mouth There's a big white lady On a big white doorstep She asked her daddy and her daddy said "yes" Has to give a little for the dollars that we get Has to give a little - They say it's for the best Somebody shouted Maybe But they kept on living from hand to mouth Hand to mouth, hand to mouth, hand to mouth So she ran to the arms of america And she kissed the powers that be And someone told me (someone told me) That the gods believe in nothing So with empty hands I pray And I tell myself One day They just might see me
The Nine Woods
The “nine woods” in the Rede of the Wiccae refers to the components of a ritual fire. Ritual fires are used quite often in Pagan rites, Beltane being the most common. The exact make-up of the nine woods is uncertain, and may in fact turn on regional wood supplies and/or group custom. This theory may be supported by the next line of the Rede of the Wiccae, which implies that you can burn different kinds of wood – as long as you don’t burn Elder. Nine woods in the Cauldron go – burn them quick and burn them slow. Elder be ye Lady’s tree – burn it not or cursed ye’ll be. The most commonly referenced “nine woods” are birch, oak, rowan, willow, hawthorn, hazel, apple, vine, and fir - although aromatic woods more common to North America, such as dogwood, mesquite, poplar, juniper, pine, and cedar are also sometimes mentioned. A ritual poem describing the nine woods is listed below. The Nine Woods
~Author Unknown Nine woods in the Cauldron go,
Burn them fast and burn them slow Birch in the fire goes To represent what the Lady knows Oak gives the forest towers might In the fire brings the God's insight Rowan is the tree of power Causing life and magick to flower Willows at the waterside stand To aid the journey to the Summerland Hawthorn is burned to purify And draw faerie to your eye Hazel, the tree of wisdom and learning Adds its strength to the bright fire burning White are the flowers of Apple tree That brings us fruits of fertility Grapes that grow upon the vine Giving us both joy and wine Fir does mark the evergreen To represent immortality seen Elder is the Lady's tree Burn it not or cursed you'll be Angelic Hierarchy

Fifth Order - Virtues Sixth Order - Powers The Third Heavenly Realm - Heavenly Messengers
Seventh Order - Principalities
Eighth Order - Archangels Ninth Order - Angels Descriptions Of The Angelic Nine Orders
First Order - Seraphim
The Seraphim are considered to be the highest of the Nine Orders and are said to be the Angels closest to the throne of God. They are beings devoted totally to love and represent God's Love in the purest form. They are in essence all that is love. They are said to be the lightest of all light beings, their light is so intense that the sun pales in comparison. Second Order - Cherubim
The Cherubim are considered to be the Angels of wisdom and knowledge. Their wisdom and knowledge is said to be incomprehensible to the human mind. They are also said to be responsible for keeping the Heavenly records in order. Basically they are Heaven's Bookkeepers. Third Order - Thrones
The Thrones are considered to be the Angels who fulfill Divine Justice. They are said to represent God's justice and authority. I like to think of them as God's Heavenly Police, serving justice when justice is needed. Fourth Order - Dominions
The Dominions are considered to be the Angels who govern. They are said to regulate the activities of other Angels lower in ranking. There has been some speculation as to whether they interact with humans as it is said that they rarely do.....but I am happy to say that 'yes' they do interact with humans! Especially to those human spirits who have achieved a higher Divine consciousness and are in need of spiritual governing. Fifth Order - Virtues
The Virtues are considered to be the Angels who keep order in the Universe. It is said that these Angels watch over the galaxies, planets, and all celestial life. They are the Divine beings who keeping order and make sure that everything is running as it should. These Angels also assist humans in finding their way to God, to righteousness, and to the glory of Divine Love. Sixth Order - Powers
The Powers are considered to be the Angels who are defenders and guardians of all that is good. They are said to be the Angels who keep the Universe safe from being ruled by evil. They assist humanity by helping humans make the right conscience choices towards good. Have you ever seen those little comedy routines where someone has two little Angels sitting on their shoulders? One Angel tries to convince the person to make the right choice and the other, which always resembles a little devil, tries to make the person make the wrong choice? Well, that little Angel trying to convince the person to make the right choice just happens to be an Angel representing the Powers Order!! Seventh Order - Principalities
The Principalities are considered to be the Angels who are the guardians of the Earth. They are said to be the Angels who are directly involved with the affairs of all humanity. They are very much like Spirit Guides only they have more Heavenly power and strength. Often Principalities can be seen working along side Spirit Guides. Eighth Order - Archangels
The Archangels are considered to be the Angelic Warriors Of Heaven who lovingly and bravely carry out God's Universal and Divine Will. They are said to work closely with those humans who wish to also carry out God's Divine Will. They carry with them strength, wisdom, and God's Divine Love. They maybe Warriors but they are Warriors with hearts of gold! Ninth Order - Angels The Angels, while considered to be the lowest ranking of all the Orders, are certainly not less than the other Orders. They are pure beings of God blessed with many talents and duties. They are God's messengers and the guardians of all souls.
