Crystals for Writer's Block

Harmonizing heart and throat chakras can bring improvement, insight and genius to the forms of communication from the heart to the mouth (or through the pen).
You many want to consider these thoughts:
Find another activity to spark your imagination. Inspiration can come from many forms.
When you sit down to write, you do not have to start at the beginning. You can start in the middle or work backwards.
Simply write down thoughts that come into your mind, randomly.
Try writing an outline, if you haven't already.  Plotting ideas can lead to a sentence, which can actually lead to a paragraph. You're on you way!
In your mind, change the audience you are writing to. Consider writing as if you were going to write for a child or to a group of scientist.
Change your identity. Imagine that you are someone else writing the material. Be that inspirational poet you admire or the explorer who just had a great adventure.
Carry a notebook around with you to jot down a thought or phrase that comes to mind.
When utilizing crystal energies, there are those crystals that have been used based on there color energies and metaphysical properties and those used traditionally through practice. Find a crystal that inspires you. Here are just a few suggestions:

  • Wolf-
Teaching, A Guide to the SacredWolves have been long regarded by Native Americans as teachers or pathfinders. Wolves are fiercely loyal to their mates, and have a strong sense of family while maintaining individualism. In the stars, Wolf is represented by the Dog, Sirius, thought by many abroginal tribes to be the home of the "Ancients." It seems to be through this connection that Wolf has come to be associated with ancient teachings. Wolves are probably the most misunderstood of the wild animals. Tales of cold bloodedness abound, in spite of the their friendly, social and intelligent traits. They are truly free spirits even though their packs are highly organized. They seem to go out of their way to avoid a fight. One is rarely necessary when a shift in posture, a growl, or a glance gets the point across quite readily. Traditionally, someone with Wolf Medicine has a strong sense of self, and communicates well through subtle changes in voice inflection and body movements. They often find new solutions to problems while providing stability and support that one normally associates with a family structure.

    Freeing Yourself
Knowing When To Let Someone Go

Just as a good relationship can have a positive impact on your life, stressful, draining, or imbalanced relationships can have negative effects on your health and well-being. It's common to maintain a relationship because we feel the other person needs us or we believe that they will eventually change. We may also be afraid of hurting the other person or feel insecure in our ability to find new relationships. But knowing when to end a relationship and acknowledging that the pain will pass can often prevent greater pain and feelings of loss in the long run.

If you're in a relationship that isn't satisfying or one that has become unhealthy for you, rather than spending energy attempting to fix the problem or complaining, ask yourself what you really want from the relationship. Consider whether the other person truly considers your feelings or if they are willing to change their behavior. Ask yourself if you've often thought about ending the relationship or if you feel your bonds have atrophied. While every relationship has ups and downs, when there are more downs than ups or the two of you are bringing out the worst in each other, it may be time to sever the connection. Be honest with yourself and your answers, even if the truth is painful.

Relationships thrive on honesty, communication, mutual caring, and time spent together. When one or more of these elements are missing, it may be that the relationship, no matter how passionate, simply isn't worth it. It's far better to end a relationship that doesn't feel right than to hold on to it and languish in feelings of anger or resentment. Moving on without struggle, on the other hand, can be the door that leads you to a more nurturing relationship in the future.

    SHE DON'T TELL ME TO"
Every now and then, on my way home, I stop at a spot where the wild flowers grow, an' I pick a few...
'Cause she don't tell me to.

I go out with my boys all right,
But most of the time I call it a night before they do,
'Cause she don't tell me to.

    Sunday mornin', I'm in church-
And my butt, and my back, and necktie hurt, but I'm in the pew,
    She don't tell me to.

Any other woman I know would have tried to control me and it would be over-
Plannin' on my goin' on my own way attitude.
All of that stubborness melts away when I wake with her head on my shoulder,
An' I know I've got to love her until my life is through,
'Cause she don't tell me to.

Well, I got demons and I've got pride
But when I'm wrong, I apologize like she's mine to lose
'Cause she don't tell me to.

Well, I got dreams in this heart of mine, But nothin' that I wouldn't lay aside if she asked me to.
'Cause she don't tell me to.

An' she don't even know that she keeps me lookin' for the next right thing to do-
'Cause she don't tell me to.

Any other woman I know would have tried to control me and it would be over. Plannin' on my goin' on my own way attitude.
And all of that stubborness melts away when I wake with her head on my shoulder.

And I know I've got to love her until my life is through
    What else can I do?
    I love her...
'Cause she don't tell me to. She don't tell me to.

Every now an' then, on my way home, I stop at a spot where the wild flowers grow, and I pick a few, Yes I do.
